Shivṭa (North)

In July 2021, a salvage excavation was conducted north of the Shiv t a antiquities site (Permit No. A-9071; map ref. 162059/537213; Fig. 1), following damage to antiquities in Shiv t a National Park. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, was directed by S. Shaked (field photography), with the assistance of Y. Alamor (administration), E. Aladjem (surveying and drafting) and A. Golani (scientific guidance).
