Tel Yavne, Area M2

In May–September 2022, a trial excavation was conducted in Area M2, east of Tel Yavne (Permit No. A-8999; map ref. 641452/176528; Fig. 1), prior to the construction of a new housing project. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Israel Land Authority, was directed by P. Betzer and D. Varga, with the assistance of D. Ein Mor and R.
