FLAVONOL O-GLYCOSIDE OF POLYGONUM AVICULARE FROM BAIKAL REGION
Chromatographic separation of isopropanol extract of the herb of Polygonum aviculare L. (Polygonaceae) resulted in isolation of known flavonoids 2-19 including O-glucosides, O-glucuronides, and acetyl-O- glucuronides of myricetin, quercetin, kaempferol, isorhamnetin, and kaempferide. Kaempferide 3-O-glucoside (6), quercetin 3-O-(2′′-O-acetyl)-glucoside (17), kaempferol 3-O-(2′′- O-acetyl)-glucoside (18), and isorhamnetin 3-O-(2′′-O-acetyl)-glucoside (19) were found for the species for the first time. Compound 1 was characterized as a new flavonoid, the which structure was determined based on UV, NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry data as myricetin 3-O-(2′′- O-acetyl)-β-D- glucuronopyranoside. Differences in the qualitative composition of flavonoids of P. aviculare growing in different ecotopes of the Republic of Buryatia were revealed and the different distribution of O-glucosides and O-glucuronides in the raw material was discovered.
