RATIONALE FOR THE USE OF MEADOWSWEET TO STIMULATE CELLULAR RESISTANCE FACTORS IN THE ORGANISM
Biologically active substances of medicinal plants have a complex effect on a living organism. Their synthesis and accumulation occurs during the vegetation of the plant. Such compounds are alkaloids, glycosides, flavonoids, tannins, essential oils, organic acids and many others. All of them have a pronounced physiological activity with a combined effect, i. e. there is a so-called kinetic synergism of the components of the mixture of medicinal plants. Biologically active substances are produced during the life of the plant and are chemical compounds that have a certain pharmacological effect on the animal organism. Significance is given to preparations of plant origin that increase resistance and immunological indicators of a living organism. We have studied the properties of meadowsweet to stimulate resistance.
