Gondolatok a dolgozói részvény jogintézménye használhatóságának növeléséről

There are few more "constructive" legal institutions in Hungarian company law, which by their very existence carry a more positive message at the micro- and macro-level of the economy, than the employee share. The idea that a company becomes more operational and competitive, more stable, more valuable, and "prosperous" for all its owners, more interesting and attractive for investors, because the employees (some of them) are also the owners of the company, is a very likeable idea. From the point of view of both the economic development of companies and their revitalization, it is a really "good idea". Yet, if we look at the ownership structure of Hungarian limited companies, we find a negligible number of companies that have thought of strengthening themselves by issuing employee shares, by involving employees in the ownership. What are the reasons for this and, above all, could employee share issues be made more fashionable, their applicability and popularity be increased - this study aims to contribute to this with some thoughts.
