Characteristics and estimation method of maximum tensile stress of sluice floor during construction in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River

In view of the unique high-temperature and rainy climate conditions in Jiangxi Province, the temperature stress characteristics of the sluice floor of the large orifice gate during the construction period are studied, and the influence of the thickness of the sluice floor and the temperature difference of the foundation on the maximum tensile stress of concrete is emphatically analyzed. Through finite element analysis and numerical simulation, the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of the temperature field and stress field of the floor during the construction period are revealed. The results show that when the thickness of the sluice floor increases, the internal temperature gradient increases significantly, resulting in the expansion of the tensile stress difference between the surface layer and the central region; For the foundation temperature difference, when the length of the sluice floor is 20m and the thickness is 3-5m, the maximum tensile stress inside the sluice floor gradually increases with the increase of the foundation temperature difference, and when the thickness of the sluice floor is 6-7m, the maximum tensile stress inside the sluice floor. A formula for estimating the tensile stress of the sluice floor considering the thickness of the sluice floor and the temperature difference of the foundation is proposed. The calculated result is less than 10%. The research results can provide a theoretical basis for similar projects to optimize temperature control measures and prevent early temperature cracks.
