Türkiye’de mobilya satışları üzerinde etkili olan faktörler

The Turkish furniture industry makes a significant contribution to the national economy through its potential for employment and exports, exhibiting a dynamic structure influenced by various factors. These factors influence consumer purchasing decisions, manufacturer strategies, and the industry's overall economic performance. This study aims to identify the key determinants of furniture sales in Türkiye. A survey was conducted with 532 consumers, and the responses were analysed using quantitative methods. The results indicate that perceptions of visual appeal and functionality are the primary purchasing criteria across all groups, while environmental concerns and promotional factors are relatively less influential. Demographic analysis revealed notable differences based on gender, age, income, and employment status. The findings suggest that marketing and design strategies in the furniture industry should be tailored to the characteristics of the target audience.
