Reflectarray Near Field Analysis Based on Array Scattering Matrix

A fast and precise method to analyze reflectarray near field under plane wave incidence is proposed, which makes use of phased array equivalent scattering matrix model. The approach requires once of initial array full-wave computation and would theoretically generates no error in the following computation and takes negligible time and computer resource compared with full-wave methods. A 6 × 6 reflectarray is constructed, which validates the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed approach.

Abstract

A fast and precise method to analyze reflectarray near field under plane wave incidence is proposed, which makes use of phased array equivalent scattering matrix model. The approach requires once of initial array full-wave computation and would theoretically generates no error in the following computation and takes negligible time and computer resource compared with full-wave methods. A 6 × 6 reflectarray is constructed, which validates the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed approach.
