Independently Controllable Hybrid-Designed Transparent Antenna for Shared-Aperture Array
This paper proposes a hybrid-designed transparent antenna with independently controllable for shared-aperture array. The split-rings loaded on the low-band (LB) arm can effectively suppresses high-band (HB) induced current while maintaining stable LB radiation characteristics. In addition, the loading of the metal patch can flexibly adjust the HB transparency performance without affecting the performance of the LB antenna, which has independent controllable characteristics. Thus, by combing the above two design concepts, the blockage effect can be effectively suppressed. Experimental results show that the shared-aperture can cover the LB (0.82 − 0.96GHz) and HB (3.4 − 3.6GHz) with stable radiation performances.
