A Comprehensive Investigation of Cloud-based Strategies for Efficient Resource Allocation and Load Balancing
Distributing a program's network requests among many available resources in a balanced manner is what's known as load balancing. Nowadays, applications need to handle millions of users simultaneously and reliably provide each user with accurate data, videos, photos, and text. Using cloud-based computing to distribute the burden across available resources and obtain faster response times was necessary for this severe challenge. This guarantees that the system will never experience an overflow of virtual machines. Current and popular load-balancing strategies are pitted against the algorithms suggested by different academics. Several restricted criteria, such as execution time, reaction time, and system stability, may be enhanced by load balancing, leading to an overall improvement in cloud performance. Through the equitable distribution of processing demands over all available resources, cloud load balancers enhance system performance. Examining recent developments and emerging technology, this research sheds light on how evolving cloud architectures impact resource efficiency. Examining data centre response time and overall performance, this article thoroughly examines several Load-balancing approaches in cloud environments that are static, dynamic, or inspired by nature. The algorithms are examined, and a gap in the current literature is filled about the necessity for more research in this area. This research article examines current LB critical approaches and discusses several LB factors, including performance, scalability, power savings, throughput, overhead, migration time, reaction time, and fault tolerance. The study also recognizes the need for a new LB algorithm and discusses the challenges with LB in a CC setting. This study includes a literature review of suggested load-balancing algorithms, arranged according to several criteria that include pros and cons for each.
