Cognicare: An Intelligent Multi-Module Framework for Support of Neurodevelopmental and Learning Disorders using Machine Learning

This paper introduces a smart, interactive system designed to enhance early detection of neurodevelopmental and learning disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Non-Verbal Learning Disabilities (NVLD). The framework comprises three modules: a user-friendly interface with interactive tasks and questionnaires for assessing cognitive and social skills, personalized recommendations, and structured academic and cognitive tests targeting memory, comprehension, numerical fluency, and visual-motor coordination. The third module uses machine learning models like Random Forest, Support Vector Machine, and Neural Networks to accurately predict potential disorders. This enables scalable and efficient early screening, particularly in low-resource settings, aiding timely intervention and better developmental outcomes.
