Decentralized Cloud Systems: A Novel Framework for IoT Scalability and Security

The paper presents a novel approach to data transfer by combining cloud access with localized high-speed transfers to meet modern storage needs. The system features a dual mode structure consisting of offline wired sub server to main-server USB transfers in low connectivity environments and sensitive operations conducted with military-grade security. Sensitive files are stored within specially named traceable folders on the main server which ensures monitoring and retrieval capabilities. Wireless transfers from one main server to another within the same domain using API-key authentication permit global data replication, redundancy, and remote access capabilities. This cloud-like system is achieved using HTTPS with public key infrastructure encryption providing secure end-to-end protection. Other improvements include use of USB transfer peripherals facilitating interfacing access applications, automated folder hierarchy management tools for organizational sync processes and secured inter-server sync using encrypted API frameworks. Evaluations confirm that locally initiated transfers exhibit zero latency and demonstrated high scalability across distributed networks. The hybrid model maintains cloud-like remote accessibility while diminishing external network dependencies during local operation escalating suitability for personal needs, enterprise use cases or infrastructural geospatial dispersion.
