Integrating an Advanced Piezoelectric Smart Shoe for Kinetic Energy Conversion and IoT-Driven Power Utilization with Environmental Monitoring
This project develops an innovative shoe with an integrated piezoelectric device to harness energy from walking. The generated kinetic energy is converted into electrical energy, stored in a rechargeable battery, and used to charge mobile phones. The system includes a DHT11 sensor for battery temperature monitoring and a voltage sensor for tracking voltage levels, both interfaced with a Node MCU microcontroller. Data is transmitted to a mobile app using the Blynk platform for real- time monitoring and alerts. This smart shoe offers an eco- friendly, portable power solution, combining piezoelectric technology with IoT (Internet of Things) for sustainable personal energy management.
