Offloading and Transmission Scheduling for Deterministic Tasks under Overlapping Coverage of Multiple LEO Satellites
This paper focuses on the efficient support of deterministic tasks in low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite mobile edge computing (MEC) systems for the scenario of overlapping coverage of multiple LEO satellites, in which the generation time, execution time, and deadline of tasks are fixed in advance, i.e., deterministic. The offloading and transmission scheduling of deterministic tasks in LEO MEC systems is modeled as a matching problem in the bipartite graph and the KuhnMunkres (KM) based offloading and transmission scheduling algorithm is proposed. Simulation results are reported to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
