Design of a Real-Time Spectrum Acquisition and Analysis System Based on 10G Optical Ethernet

To address the demand for high-throughput and low-latency spectrum acquisition in complex electromagnetic environments, this paper proposes a real-time wideband spectrum analysis system based on a 10G optical Ethernet interface and implemented on the Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC platform. The design features a reconfigurable digital signal processing chain supporting variable analysis bandwidths, along with high-speed data transmission over 10G Ethernet. A dual-FIFO overlap mechanism and protocol-adaptive data packaging are introduced to ensure both spectral continuity and efficient transmission. The implementation utilizes 19.67% of LUTs, 12.5% of DSP48 slices, and 12.54% of FFs on the XCZU15EG device. The experimental results validate the system's stability and accuracy in real-time operation, highlighting its potential for advanced spectrum sensing and future cognitive communication applications.
