Joint Channel and Routing Selection in Ad Hoc Networks: A Cross-layer Anti-jamming Decision-making Approach
The nodes and paths in Ad Hoc networks are more susceptible to external jamming due to the wireless channels. Therefore, it is crucial to monitor the network conditions in real-time and to adjust routing and transmission strategies dynamically. To address the above problems mentioned, this paper investigates the decentralized channel and routing selection strategy optimization in a multi-channel scenario, and formulates the problem as the Markov Decision Process (MDP). Moreover, a geographical position-assisted cross-layer anti-jamming optimization algorithm is proposed, enabling nodes to dynamically identify jamming via spectrum sensing and independently select reliable multi-hop paths by integrating neighbor locations. Finally, the simulation results show that the proposed algorithm exhibits reduced routing costs and superior anti-jamming capabilities compared with the benchmark approaches and exhibit the advantages of joint optimization of both the physical layer and the network layer.
