Optimization of Vehicle-mounted Multi-antenna Layout Based on Adaptive Genetic Algorithm with Boundary Awareness
This paper presents a novel adaptive genetic algorithm (GA) framework with boundary-awareness for optimizing antenna layout on commercial vehicles. Focusing on the FAW Jiefang J6 truck cab, we establish a multi-objective optimization model that considers spatial constraints, electromagnetic coupling, and thermal management requirements. To address irregular installation zones, a boundary projection strategy is integrated, and a MATLAB-based implementation significantly improves computational efficiency. Experimental results show that the optimized layout reduces inter-antenna coupling to -64.7 dB with a computation time of only 182 seconds. Compared to conventional methods, the proposed approach achieves a 23.5% reduction in coupling and eliminates thermal risk zones.
