Intermittent Sampling Technology and Its Application in Radar Coherent Jamming
Coherent radar has high coherent processing gain and strong suppression effect on conventional suppression or deception jamming. Intermittent sampling and forwarding jamming is a technology capable of implementing coherent jamming against coherent radar. This paper expounds the advantages of intermittent sampling and forwarding jamming, introduces DRFM (Digital Radio Frequency Memory) technology, and conducts a principle analysis of intermittent sampling and forwarding jamming based on DRFM technology. Finally, it carries out a simulation analysis on the jamming effect of linear frequency modulation signals, which are commonly used in pulse compression radar. By means of the control variable method, the paper discusses the influence of sampling duty cycle, sampling period, and sampling pulse width on the simulation results. The simulation results show that the actual jamming effect of intermittent sampling and forwarding jamming is significant.
