Farmyzaar: Secure Farmer Authentication in Agricultural Marketplace using Verhoeff Algorithm and OCR

Small-scale farmers who produce vital agricultural products face problems with intermediaries along with high costs and marketplace fraud in traditional marketplaces. Present e-commerce portals do not have sufficient security protocols, nor do they support direct farmer connections with customers which makes both product visibility and security insufficient. This research brings forward Farmyzaar which represents an innovative agricultural e-commerce platform designed to resolve existing platform problems. The system implements Optical Character Recognition technology as part of farmer verification procedures to secure safe registration for prevention of unauthorized entries. Tracking systems allow customers to verify their delivery status in real time thus establishing product quality checks as well as confirming origin and destination points. Through Farmyzaar the platform maintains direct communication between agriculture producers and customers without requiring intermediaries to perform trading operations. This differs from conventional methods which focus on listing crop products. The Verhoeff algorithm enables this platform to establish trust and security for agricultural trades. The proposed solution tackles major digital agriculture problems by creating a protected platform that delivers effective and sustainable sales.
