Antenna Optimization Design Based on Improved Harris Hawk Optimization Algorithm
Aiming at the problem of low optimization efficiency caused by insufficient intelligence in antenna structure parameter optimization in HFSS or CST, an antenna optimization method based on the improved Harris Hawk Optimization algorithm (OBL-HHO) and HFSS co-simulation is proposed. This method generates a parameterized VBS script program in MATLAB to drive HFSS modeling, automatically extracts the antenna scattering parameter S as the input of the fitness function, and performs parameter optimization through the OBL-HHO algorithm to form an algorithmic joint optimization. Finally, the algorithmic joint optimization is applied to a WIMAX and C-band dual-frequency microstrip antenna. Through the comprehensive simulation optimization of seven variable structure parameters of the antenna, the high-frequency band width of the microstrip antenna with S11 < -10dB is increased by 0.57 GHz. The improved HHO algorithm has stronger optimization ability and faster convergence speed in antenna optimization applications, significantly improving the optimization efficiency of microstrip antennas.
