Study on VOCs emission during profile control and reuse of produced liquid sediment
In response to the issue of VOCs pollution in the green application process of produced fluid sediments, this study analyzed the components of VOCs generated from produced fluid sediments using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS). It also simulated various working conditions during the storage, transportation, profile control and reuse of produced fluid sediments through experiments to investigate the emission laws of VOCs under different circumstances. The research results show that the emission process of VOCs from produced fluid sediments is relatively complex. The emission during stacking and profile control is affected by factors such as temperature and open state: the higher the temperature, the faster the emission rate. Overall, the emission rate is fast in the early stage (within the first 2 hours) and gradually slows down in the later stage. Based on this law, the total emission of VOCs can be reduced by controlling the stirring speed, lowering the temperature, and shortening the residence time of produced fluid sediments in the treatment device, thereby effectively controlling VOCs pollution.
