MUHAMMED İKBÂL’İN GÖZÜNDEN İDEAL İNSAN ÖRNEĞİ OLARAK NADİR ŞAH
Muhammad Iqbal is a versatile thinker who is familiar with Indian thought, Islamic thought, Sufi thought and Western philosophical sciences due to the environment he lived in. His only concern throughout his life was to save the Islamic nations from the difficult situation they were in by returning them to their own essence, their own selves. His philosophy of life and religious-Sufistic thought are based on dynamism. Therefore, man can only reach the ideal human form with this dynamism. The dynamic person is an alert individual who has discovered the potential powers within his/her own self, does not belittle himself/herself, and knows his/her essence well. On the other hand, he/she is a poor person who does not see himself/herself as belonging to this world only and knows that he/she has received his/her self from his/her real owner, Allah. In this respect, the ideal person is a brave warrior who has undertaken the cause of Allah's monotheism and is a soldier of Islam; on the other hand, he/she is a humble lover who obeys Allah's commands and melts his/her self before Him. Iqbal has personified these characteristics of the ideal person in the person of Nadir Shah. According to him, Nadir Shah is both a brave and characterful ruler and a humble servant of God who can be taken as an example by today's youth. In this respect, when young people look back to their own past, they will find an ideal human example for themselves like Nadir Shah.
