miniTRASGO: a compact RPC telescope for global cosmic ray monitoring
miniTRASGO is a compact ($0.125\ \mathrm{m^{3}}$), self-contained telescope based on multigap Resistive Plate Chambers (RPCs) for secondary charged cosmic-ray detection with directional sensitivity. We summarize the design, calibration, and performance: per-plane efficiencies of $\sim95\%$, time resolution of $\sim300\ \mathrm{ps}$, longitudinal position resolution of $\sim2\ \mathrm{cm}$ from differential timing, and relative angular uncertainty below $3\%$ for straight muon trajectories. We report the observation of a one-day Forbush Decrease in March 2024 and discuss the role of miniTRASGO stations within a global, low-cost monitoring network.
