STRATEGI GURU PAI DALAM MENINGKATKAN AHLAKUK KARIMAH PADA SISWA SISWI DI SMP NEGERI 1 BELO

This study aims to analyze the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Belo in strengthening students’ noble character (akhlakul karimah). Noble character plays a vital role in shaping students’ personalities, not only to create academically intelligent individuals but also those who behave with virtue. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that PAI teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Belo implement various strategies, including exemplary modeling, integrating akhlakul karimah values into learning materials, utilizing interactive learning media, and applying active learning methods through discussions and projects. In addition, rewards and positive feedback are also part of the strategies used to build students’ character. The collaborative role between schools, families, and communities greatly supports the success of this implementation. Despite facing challenges such as the influence of technology and local culture, these strategies have proven effective in fostering better student character. This research is expected to provide insights and contributions to the development of more optimal PAI learning methods in enhancing akhlakul karimah in other schools.
