Significados de los estilos de aprendizaje en postpandemia en educación superior

This study analyzed the learning styles of university students in the post-pandemic context, highlighting the accelerated transition to virtual education and the emergence of more marked individual differences. The need to adapt educational strategies to meet the United Nations objectives of promoting inclusive and sustainable education by 2030 was emphasized. The main objective was to characterize and identify the learning style of university students in post-pandemic times. The methodology consisted of a review of pertinent literature and the implementation of a questionnaire to 1,329 higher education students, using a mixed methodological approach. The findings indicated significant gender differences, with men excelling in cognitive self-efficacy and women in motivation and effort. Correlations were found between self-efficacy, study techniques, and learning perception. The study highlighted the association between learning styles and the use of technology, as well as the impact of social isolation. Conclusions lead to the vital need to promote a learning environment that is both active and adaptable to improve academic performance in times of change. Understanding learning styles and developing adaptive strategies is essential for education in the face of future crises.
