Metals and Organic Compound-Based Polymer Composite Beads to Remove Multiple Colouring Agents from Water and Other Aqueous Media
Adsorbent composite polymer beads are prepared by mixing a bimetallic organic compound and Polysulfone for the removal of multiple dyes and colouring agents from aqueous solution. The invention comprises of following steps: a) Synthesis of an adsorptive bimetal organic compound; b) Synthesis of polymer homogenous solution and development of a composite polymer beads - bimetallic organic compound via phase inversion of the homogenous solution and obtaining varying diameter beads; and c) Using the developed polymeric composite beads in batch and packed column continuous flow systems to remove single and/or multiple coloring agents from water and other aqueous mediums.
