Efficient piezoelectric catalytic degradation of organic pollutants based on defect engineering of heterovalent Al 3+ doped (Ba 0.85 Ca 0.15 )(Zr 0.1 Ti 0.9 )O 3 solid solutions
A low concentration of oxygen vacancy defects reflects excellent piezoelectric catalytic performance. Piezocatalysis of a 0.25 mol%Al 2 O 3 doped BCZT material is optimal. The strong piezoelectric effect enhances the efficiency of carrier separation.
