The Effects of Subsidy Reduction for New Energy Vehicles on Changes in Enterprise Sales
One of the most popular issues of discussion in contemporary society is new energy cars, and several scholars have focused on how subsidy policies affect the new energy vehicle sector. However, there is still room for improvement in the dynamic tracking and refined analysis of the entire industry. Therefore, this study focuses on the impact of the reduction of subsidies for new energy vehicles on changes in company sales by reviewing previous research contributions. This article finds that most existing literature focuses on specific duration or single dimensions, lacking continuous tracking of industry-wide sales during the stable subsidy period, accelerated decline period, and post-subsidy era. Additionally, there is insufficient attention paid to the differentiated responses of different vehicle models in the decline process within the industry, making it difficult to reveal the adjustment patterns of the industry sales structure under policy shocks. This paper believes that it is very significant to clarify the specific impact path and mechanism of subsidy reduction on the sales structure of enterprises, which can provide an empirical basis and important reference for the formulation of subsequent industrial policies and the adjustment of enterprise strategies.
