Modeling, Development and Analysis of the Measuring Channel Characteristics for Power Quality Assessment—A Review Study

This article presents developed and implemented hardware and software applications, according to original concepts related to structures and algorithms, in which the processing characteristics of a measurement system are implemented. Starting from a general concept regarding the measurement path, based on a literature review, the main focus of this paper is on the configuration of the device for measuring power quality and validation of the processing characteristics of the tested devices. In the context of the analyzed device, special attention is paid to the test studies, as well as to the issues of data transfer in the developed device and to the coordination of operation in this device. Some new ideas related to the analyzed issues and original findings are presented, analyzed and commented on.
