The condition and potential of production and export of Russian grain crops

Subject. This article discusses Russia's position in the global grain market. Objectives. The article aims to justify the possibility of supplementing the export-oil sector with an export-grain model of Russia's foreign trade. Methods. For the study, I used the methods of analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction and extrapolation, as well as statistical, comparative, vertical and horizontal analyses. Results. The article reveals that the implementation of a long-term strategy for the grain complex development can help Russia become a leading exporter of grain crops. Conclusions. The attention of the State and business to agriculture creates the prerequisites for the formation of the national economy export-grain model and strengthening the country's economic security.
