Escuela Oficial de Música Sagrada en Morelia, Michoacán, México
The objective of the present research focuses on the exposition and analysis of the public auditions performed by the Official School of Sacred Music in Morelia, Michoacán, until before its first decade of foundation (1921-1929). The relevance of this knowledge today lies in its artistic representation in one of the schools of sacred music in Mexico. The methodology used was based on the interpretation of documents preserved in the Library Archive of the Conservatorio de la Rosas. Finally, the premiere of a series of Michoacan works that deserve to be integrated into the musical repertoire of world heritage is verified.
