Fabrication of Organic Light Emitting Diode for Display and Lighting Solutions

Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) are the most advanced technology for electronic displays. OLEDs, which work through electroluminescence, present an exciting and innovative display technology for flat panel displays. The fabrication process involves the use of a layer of organic material sourced from Ruthenium, which is combined with Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) and subsequently deposited through a spin coating technique. This research work uses Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) to examine the surface roughness of substrates coated with Indium Tin Oxide (ITO). Additionally, the organic material placed on the substrates is analyzed using UV-Vis spectroscopy. The findings shed light on the structural characteristics, electrical and optical properties of the deposited organic material, providing valuable insights for applications in various fields of display and lighting solutions.
