Two-Loop Controlled Zeta-Cuk Converter For DC grid System

With an emphasis on the Cuk converter, this study offers a thorough examination of multiple input converters (MICs) based on the Zeta-type pulsating voltage source cell (PVSC) coupled with other primary converters. By facilitating the smooth integration of various energy sources, MICs provide a flexible answer to the growing need for effective power management in renewable energy systems. The Zeta architecture is ideal for energy storage applications because it improves voltage management, facilitates bidirectional energy flow, and reduces switching losses. In the meantime, the Cuk converter enhances overall efficiency and power quality, lowers ripple, and improves voltage stability. The theoretical underpinnings, system design, and mathematical modelling of the Zeta-Cuk-based MIC for solar applications are explored in this work. To examine important performance metrics, such as input/output voltage, efficiency, and transient response, the system is simulated using MATLAB/Simulink. When compared to traditional power electronic converters, the results show a notable improvement in energy conversion stability and efficiency.
