Analyzing 1MW Commercial PV System Using SAM for Various Location across Gujarat State
Renewable energy resources obtain the power of the sun and wind to decrease air pollution and carbon emissions. Nowadays, rooftop and grid connected solar photovoltaic systems have attention for the reduction of electricity bills and the reduction of carbon footprints. The present concept focusing on the operating performance of a 1 MW solar photovoltaic plant at different locations in Gujarat, India. The selected locations are Himatnagar, Rajkot, Dwarka, Ambaji and Surat. To generate the real time performance of a 1 MW solar photovoltaic plant is designed and simulated in SAM software. The key analysis is performed for the yearly energy generation, LCoE (Levelized cost of energy), energy balance and reduction in energy generation. This study gives an idea about the solar PV generation across Gujarat state and the feasibility for the installation of solar power plant.
