Analyzing Opportunities and Challenges of Artificial Intelligence Integration in Indonesian Innovation and Education

In the context of the global transition towards Society 5.0, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is crucial for advancing Indonesia's innovation and education sectors. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the opportunities and challenges inherent in the adoption of AI within these critical domains. Utilizing a mixed-methodology approach, the research gathers quantitative data through structured surveys and qualitative insights from expert interviews, case studies, and literature analysis. The findings reveal a growing recognition of AI's transformative potential among stakeholders but also expose significant barriers, including infrastructural deficits, a skilled labor gap, and the absence of a comprehensive policy framework. Regression analysis confirms that technological accessibility and institutional support are key determinants of successful AI integration. This study concludes that a concerted, strategic effort involving government, industry, and academia is necessary to overcome these obstacles. It offers a tactical framework and actionable recommendations designed to foster an inclusive AI ecosystem, thereby enabling Indonesia to leverage technology for sustainable growth and to enhance its competitive position in the global digital economy.
