Research and Application of an Intelligent High-Voltage Live-Line Working Wrench Based on Rare-Earth Permanent Magnet Driveitle
With increasing voltage levels and expanding transmission networks, live-line maintenance is vital for power system reliability. Existing torque tools for 66–330kV operations lack intelligent control, precise torque regulation, and electromagnetic compatibility. This paper proposes an intelligent electric wrench system powered by a high-energy-density lithium battery and driven by a rare-earth PMSM. Utilizing SVPWM and fuzzy-adaptive hybrid MPC, it achieves 500N•m torque with a 0.18s response. Harmonic suppression and EMI shielding ensure tool stability and communication reliability. Field tests show a 37% efficiency gain, 61.5% fewer fastening errors, and a communication error rate of just 0.8%, enhancing safety and quality in high-voltage live-line maintenance.
