Real Time Health Monitoring System using IoT
The proposed system implements real-time health monitoring through the Blynk Internet of Things (IoT) platform by connecting multiple sensors, including a MAX30105 sensor (a Heart rate and Pulse rate sensor). The system tracks health parameters, including heart rate, SpO 2 levels (oxygen saturation), and body temperature. The ESP32 microcontroller, together with the DS18B20 (Temperature sensor), enables the system to measure heart rate, oxygen levels, and body temperature. The device utilizes buzzer sounds and LED indicators to display real-time alerts during abnormal conditions that exceed safety thresholds, such as elevated heart rates and overheated body conditions. The system requires a condition detecting finger availability to ensure valid reading results. All acquired data is sent to the Blynk mobile application through Wi-Fi for immediate observation of vital signs. Such a healthcare system proves valuable in remote healthcare facilities by enabling Healthcare providers to respond immediately to patients’ abnormal medical conditions.
