Analysis of Pantograph-Rigid Catenary Coupling Characteristics Considering Ambient Temperature in Western Plateau
With the raise of passenger and freight amount in the western area of China, the railway in the western area is also expanding. However, the rugged landscape and extreme weather in the western plateau region pose significant obstacles for building railways. To address the unique challenges posed by numerous tunnels, frigid conditions, and significant temperature fluctuations in the western highland areas, and large temperature differences in the western plateau region, this paper attempts to establish a contact force calculation model for pantograph-rigid catenary. Considering the changes in ambient temperature inside long tunnels in the western plateau region, solve for the stiffness of the rigid catenary. On the basis of the established model, the stiffness at different temperatures is added, and the pantograph-rigid catenary contact force is obtained. The simulation results shows that the quality of pantograph-rigid catenary contact force deteriorates when ambient temperature is low.
