FORMATION OF CREATIVE COMPETENCE OF FUTURE DOCTORS: ROLE PLAYING AS A DEVELOPMENT TOOL

The article analyzes modern approaches to the formation of creativity and the development of creative potential of applicants for higher medical education. The author emphasizes the fragmentation and lack of systematization of existing research on the use of game technologies, in particular role-playing games, in medical education. The pedagogical potential and feasibility of using role-playing games, as well as short focused exercises with their elements for the development of creative competence of future doctors are theoretically substantiated. The author provides an example of the practical implementation of this approach in medical and biological physics classes. The effectiveness of the development of creative competence components in such classes using role-playing games and exercises with their elements is analyzed. The methodology for their use in classes in professional disciplines is developed and substantiated using the example of therapeutic dentistry and emergency surgery. The scenarios include the initial reception of a patient, reporting unpleasant news, interaction with a conflict patient. The study confirms that regular use of role-playing games develops flexibility, originality, associative and non-standard thinking. These exercises stimulate the ability to generate ideas, find new solutions in atypical circumstances, and also promote active interaction, spontaneity and improvisation, which is key to the formation of creative competence of future doctors and successful medical practice. The results of the study indicate that role-playing games are a powerful tool for the development of creativity, which is an important component of the professional competence of a modern doctor. Prospects for further research are outlined, in particular, the development of comprehensive programs for the integration of game technologies into the curricula of medical institutions and an empirical assessment of their long-term impact on clinical practice and career growth of graduates.
