Vortex Nanolaser based on Pseudospin in Photonic Graphene

Design simplicity and low thresholds are the long-seeking metrics for vortex nanolaser. We demonstrate vortex lasing in both real and momentum space by exciting the pseudospin states in photonic graphene, with threshold of 12.5 KW/cm 2 .

Abstract

Design simplicity and low thresholds are the long-seeking metrics for vortex nanolaser. We demonstrate vortex lasing in both real and momentum space by exciting the pseudospin states in photonic graphene, with threshold of 12.5 KW/cm 2 .
