Agile hybrid integrated Si3N4-LNOI laser with an intrinsic linewidth below 20 Hz

We report a hybrid integrated Si 3 N 4 -LNOI laser achieving a record intrinsic linewidth of 19.68 Hz. Leveraging the LN-based electric-optic dynamics, the laser demonstrates 7.1-nm fast wavelength switching with a switching time below 300 ns.

Abstract

We report a hybrid integrated Si 3 N 4 -LNOI laser achieving a record intrinsic linewidth of 19.68 Hz. Leveraging the LN-based electric-optic dynamics, the laser demonstrates 7.1-nm fast wavelength switching with a switching time below 300 ns.
