Abstract

A necessary element of modern higher education has become the introduction into the educational process of innovative pedagogical and information and communication technologies, adequate to the new educational paradigm, which is focused on the development of an active personality who freely navigates in the global information space and uses this resource for self-development. The article reveals the features of the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the formation of managerial competence of future specialists of the State Emergency Service (SES). It has been established that the formation of managerial competence of future specialists of the SES is a multifaceted and complex process that requires a combination of theoretical training, practical skills and psychological readiness for action in emergency situations. Only a systematic approach focused on modern challenges and technologies, is able to provide training for highly qualified leaders who can act effectively in any crisis. Information and communication technologies create broad opportunities for the formation of cognitive interest of cadets. The comprehensive implementation and use of various ICTs (educational and training programs, online learning, decision support systems, cloud services, etc.) contribute to the preparation of cadets and students for managerial activities. Modern ICTs open up new opportunities for training managers in the field of the SES. The use of simulators, virtual and augmented reality, and emergency monitoring systems allows practicing actions in conditions as close to reality as possible without risk to life. These technologies make it possible to individualize learning, increase the motivation of cadets and students to independently obtain complete educational information and the necessary knowledge and skills related to further official functions, ensure clarity and systematic presentation of the material, and integrate knowledge and skills from different disciplines. Prospects for further scientific development of the specified problem are seen in substantiating the criteria, indicators of their manifestation and levels of formation of managerial competence of future specialists of the State Emergency Service.
