Raman-lasing-assisted frequency comb generation in integrated silicon nitride microresonators
We demonstrate frequency comb generation via Raman scattering in silicon-nitride microresonators. The comb generation is facilitated by an interplay of Raman scattering in the fused silica cladding and Kerr-nonlinearity of the silicon nitride core.
