Design and Implementation of a 6x6 MZI-Based Coherent Crossbar Array for Scalable Photonic Matrix Computation

We demonstrate an on-chip 6x6 MZI-based coherent crossbar architecture and provide a calibration algorithm based on the creation of interferometric structures. Experimental results over 5000 matrices show a fidelity of 99.47±0.14%.
