Second Harmonic Generation in Periodically Poled Thin-Film Lithium Tantalate

We realize the first demonstration of optical nonlinear wave mixing in periodically poled thin-film lithium tantalate. We perform second harmonic generation with 208% W −1 cm −2 conversion efficiency.
