Exploring the Role of Digital Technology in Transforming Painting Art Creation and Market Accessibility
The integration of digital technology in the arts has brought significant changes to both the creative process and the accessibility of artwork in global markets. This study explores how digital tools and platforms are transforming painting art creation and influencing market dynamics. Artists are increasingly utilizing digital mediums such as digital painting software, 3 Dimensional (3D) modeling, and Augmented Reality (AR) to enhance their creativity and broaden their artistic expression. Additionally, the rise of online art marketplaces and digital galleries, coupled with globalization, has expanded the reach of art to a global audience, providing new opportunities for artists. However, these technological advancements also introduce challenges such as the commodification of art and the risk of oversaturation in digital platforms. This research employs qualitative methods, including case studies and market trend analysis, to examine how digital technology influences both the creative practices of artists and the economic dynamics of the global art market. The findings suggest that while digital technology has democratized access to the art market and facilitated greater creative freedom, it has also intensified market pressures and reshaped the value of traditional artworks. The study concludes that the digital transformation of the art world offers both opportunities and challenges, requiring artists and market participants to navigate a rapidly evolving landscape.
