AgriBot: AI-Driven Crop and Disease Forecasting

Farmers do not know what to grow. Also, they do not know which disease is affecting their crop and basic knowledge related to farming techniques. But let’s be frank, our economy stands on agriculture quite firmly. To lend a helping hand, a product named AgriBot: A Smart Chatbot for Farmers with Crop and Disease Prediction has been launched. The modern technology uses various machine learning and deep learning aid farmers which crop can be chosen at their farm by making use of rainfall, temperature, humidity with the value of ph, and nutrients in the soil. Its other asset is a plant disease detection algorithm which makes use of Deep Learning process to scan the leaf photos and is easy to identify the disease and cure it in its early stage. The chatbot is a virtual farm assistant that helps you with irrigation, fertilizers, soil and smart tips based on smart suggestions. The chatbot employs a CNN model over ResNet to identify diseases and XGBoost based crop recommendations, both of which are supported by a Flask-based backend. The farmer can easily connect to AgriBot through an easy-to-use text interface and gain instant, expert advice tailored to their own unique farming needs. AgriBot harnesses the phenomenal capabilities of artificial intelligence and automation to help farmers maximize productivity, reduce waste, and optimize their resources. This software aims to bridge the knowledge gap between farmers and the farming experts, providing top-notch farming advice that’s easy, efficient, and fact-based.
