Near-Field Phased Array Diagnostics in Steering Domain

In this letter, a novel near-field diagnostic method for phased array based on the MUSIC algorithm and a matrix inversion is proposed. In view of the steering diversity, the data are collected in the steering domain with a fixed probe. Numerical examples show that the proposed approach outperforms standard strategies such as Compressive sensing and Matrix method.

Abstract

In this letter, a novel near-field diagnostic method for phased array based on the MUSIC algorithm and a matrix inversion is proposed. In view of the steering diversity, the data are collected in the steering domain with a fixed probe. Numerical examples show that the proposed approach outperforms standard strategies such as Compressive sensing and Matrix method.
