Impedance Angle Model for Undersea Wireless Power Transfer Systems Based on Real-Time Monitoring of Marine Environmental Parameters
Seawater temperature, salinity, and pressure influence the electrical conductivity and dielectric constant of seawater. These complex and variable electrical parameters cause electromagnetic waves to rapidly attenuate in seawater, limiting the distance and quality of wireless power transfer. High conductivity increases energy loss, while high-temperature and high-salinity environments introduce uncertainties for undersea wireless power transfer. This paper proposes an impedance angle model, aiming to integrate real-time marine environmental parameters such as temperature and salinity through the eddy current loss algorithm. This approach seeks to accurately evaluate the impact of these factors on the impedance characteristics of an undersea wireless power transfer (UWPT) system, achieving a mirrored mapping of marine environmental parameters. By adapting to dynamic marine environmental parameters, precise modeling and prediction of marine environmental factors enable the analysis of their impact patterns on the impedance matching of the undersea wireless power transfer system. Dynamic impedance matching of UWPT system can be achieved by real-time adjustment of the impedance angle. This ensures the stability and efficiency of UWPT system under complex and changing marine conditions, thereby enhancing the reliability of power supply for underwater mobile devices.
