Symptomatic nodular sarcoid myopathy: A rare extrapulmonary manifestation

Sarcoidosis is a multisystem disorder with noncaseating granulomatous inflammation. Symptomatic sarcoid myopathy is rare and its clinical manifestation is commonly nonspecific. We present a case that illustrates how magnetic resonance imaging can help with the diagnosis of sarcoid myopathy and determine its extent of involvement.
